If you are taking the train you can take a taxi from Leagrave (closest), Tring, Luton Airport Parkway or Leighton Buzzard. For a nice cycle along the ridgeway and country lanes (about 8 miles) take the train from Euston to Berkhampstead or Tring.

Steeped in history, the London Gliding Club has been based at the foot of the Dunstable Downs since the 30's.

London Gliding Club welcomes new members and we believe we offer an ideal place to meet friends and to enjoy the wonderful sport of gliding. Our facilities are top notch, both on the ground and in the air. We are conveniently close to London, and have sufficient airspace to provide excellent local and cross country flying.

With free reciprocal membership, loads of gliders, tugs and winch cables - a visit to the Dunstable Downs is always a good idea! We have an excellent restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch (and yummy cakes) To top it off we fly 364 days of the year!
