Phil’s Weather Brief
This page will be updated whenever I have time to do so. Update usually by 07.30 ish each morning but occasionally on the day before.
Note: The forecast sometimes appears before the time stamp. This indicates that I am still editing and it is subject to change.
A word about finish times - these are conservative and where cross country speeds have declined let’s say to 70 - 80kph
(I know some of you like to extract the last thermal out of the day and will go on later!)
This forecast will be suspended during the Club Class Nationals.
A full forecast and outlook will be provided during the daily competition briefings.

*Up to is distance I would expect a very good and current pilot to achieve in a modern glider e.g. JS1/AS33.
When no distance is given this reflects considerable uncertainty.
