Groups of 10 or more people can book introductory flights on summer weekday evenings - usually on Tuesdays or Thursdays - starting at 6pm.
For just £80 each, you can enjoy an aerotow launch with a flight time of up to 20 minutes, or choose an exhilarating winch launch for £32, providing around 5 minutes in the air. First-timers generally prefer the aerotow launch as it offers a gentle and graceful way to take to the skies. Thrill-seekers, however, tend to favour the winch launch, which accelerates gliders from 0 to 60 mph in around 3–4 seconds!
For group bookings, all participants must choose the same launch type in advance, meaning the group will either fly using aerotow launches or winch launches.
In addition to prospective student pilots, we also welcome friends and family who simply wish to come along and spectate.
