One Day Course
This is a great way to get a real start in gliding, or to come back to it after a break.
A fantastic gift, it’s a day that the trainee pilot will remember forever. At most you will be sharing the glider and instructor with one other pupil who is also on a One Day Course.
Included are three 2000 foot aerotows, lunch, a month of membership and a personal flight logbook – everything you need to continue learning afterwards.
After checking in with reception, who will explain how to get to the launch point and where the facilities are. You will spend the day learning about understanding the principles of flying as well as gliding, local airfield operations and have the chance to get to know our club. By the end of the day you’ll be in control of the glider, flying most of the flight yourself!
