Our cadet scheme has been inspiring young people (from the age of 14) to take to the skies for over 25 years! It has launched Regional and National Champions and even members of the British Team - shaping the next generation of gliding talent.

Thanks to the generous subsidies on the cadet scheme, places are limited each year - so it’s common to have more applicants than spots available.

Beyond learning to glide, the skills and experience gained in gliding become invaluable assets for life, no matter which career path you choose.

We also offer a strong junior membership option for anyone over the age of 18. Whilst it doesn’t offer the same level of subsidy as the cadet scheme, it significantly reduces membership costs for young adults up to age 30, after which juniors can transition to full membership.
